...Welcome to an unfamiliar place!

Hello! I'm Luke Anthony Sawczak and this is my website. I don't want you to feel uncomfortable; on the other hand, I don't want you to feel too comfortable, either. I just want you to imagine something new. By the way, although the site is all about me and my work... it is not me. It's meant to introduce you to who I am and what I do. Then I'd prefer that you talk to me!

Eh? About me? Well, I told you my name - let's not wear it out. I'm in my first year of university, which I attend in Ontario, Canada. I'm studying English, French and Education (with a major in the latter two)... But stuff like that, which is to say traditional learning, is all boring and commonplace: that's not why this site exists, at all. I created it, rather, to get away from all that...

See, what I love to do is art. More specifically, I love to write (both Prose and Poetry), to take pictures (mostly nature Photography), to compose Music (of the classical sort), and to act (in public Theatre). You can check out the tabs on the top of the page to learn about each of my hobbies. I think there's a certain amount of beauty in each, so I hope you agree.

The most important part, however, that I couldn't get away with if I didn't mention it, is that I am a Christian. I make my effort to putting that faith into my life, but not necessarily into my work. I prefer more to do, and less to say. Of course, there are sadly many times in my life that I don't do what I should. There are also many times in my work that I intentionally and indirectly become a Christian apologetic. Nothing is absolute here. Lastly, I love talking about God and figuring out the Christ-like lifestyle - I am not only happy, but excited, to talk with you on the subject!

This site hosts a lot of downloads. To make it easier, I've made all the download links into a picture of what type it will be. This is an explanation of each one if you're not familiar with the icons:

~ PDF file. Opens with Adobe Reader. It takes longer to load than most, but it will always display exactly what I intended.

~ DOC file. Opens with Microsoft Word. Will usually display correctly, takes a modest time to load, but if you happen to not have the right fonts, it won't look right.

~ TXT file. Opens with Notepad built into Windows; very easy to download, but doesn't look like much.

~ MP3 file. Plays with any music player. All MP3s on this site are 128 Kbps (average quality). If you want a higher quality version, contact me. Note; if it opens in your browser but you want to download it, right-click the link and choose "Save As".

~ MP3 files for Free Daily Melody, colour coded for orchestrated vs original. These are slightly higher quality. Check them out at the Free Daily Melody section of the Music tab.

~ YouTube link. Just opens a Youtube window for the movie to play in.
